Leadership That Heals presents
For leaders and former clients who know the next era will demand more than performance alone, we are excited to invite you to our first gathering in Portugal. This is a 4-day immersion for founders, executives, culture-shapers, and high-responsibility humans preparing to lead with discernment, nervous system capacity, relational depth, and human integrity in the Acceleration Era.
An Evolution
Before we reveal the new name, visual identity, and expanded body of work in October, we are gathering a small group of leaders in Portugal to experience the work at its threshold.
The foundations remain: building the internal capacity required to lead under pressure, navigate complexity, strengthen relationships, make clearer decisions, and create environments where trust, belonging, dignity, and honest conversations become possible.
What is expanding is the context this work is here to meet.
As intelligence becomes increasingly automated, the question of leadership becomes less about how much we know, and more about what remains distinctly human in how we perceive, decide, relate, create, and steward power.
The edge is no longer only competence. It is discernment, regulation, ethical imagination, relational honesty, and the capacity to remain human while carrying increasing complexity.
A NOTE FROM OUR CEO, FRANZISKA:
There comes a moment in any body of work when its original name, duty, and responsibility still honor where it began, but no longer fully serve what it is becoming or where it needs to go.
Leadership That Heals began with a conviction that leadership development needed to become more human, more embodied, more honest, and more connected to the nervous system realities of responsibility.
That conviction has only deepened. And it has a new name: Unreasonably Human.
Lately, the conversations I'm having with clients, course participants, founders, and executive teams feel different.
With enormous opportunity for innovation, growth, and speed are coming questions many people are not fully prepared to answer — questions around meaning, capacity, relationships, identity.
Questions around what kind of human the Acceleration Era is asking us to become.
So, I think this current body of work at Leadership That Heals is reaching a threshold, too.
Not because the work is changing. If anything, we — and our clients — are more convinced than ever of its impact and necessity. But the world around the work is changing, and with it, a new premium is emerging: on time, attention, capacity, and the ability to stay clear and human under pressure. Leaders are carrying more complexity, making decisions with greater consequence, and feeling the cost of moving without enough space to think, feel, regulate, and discern. From where I stand each week with my clients, the urgency is unmistakable. The absence of this kind of space is no longer a soft cost. It shows up financially, strategically, directionally, mentally, and emotionally.
For years, this work has explored a simple truth:
Leadership is not only a role, a strategy, or a set of decisions. It lives in the body before it becomes behavior. It lives in the nervous system before it becomes culture. It lives in the way we meet pressure, conflict, uncertainty, visibility, intimacy, responsibility, and power.
That remains more true than ever.
But we are now living in a world where the impact, results, and implications of artificial intelligence are reshaping cognition, automation is changing how decisions are made, and speed itself can quietly begin to replace reflection, discernment, and depth.
The next era of leadership will not only require better tools.
It will require deeper humans.
What human capacities become more valuable as intelligence becomes increasingly automated? What do we protect? What do we automate? What do we refuse to outsource? What must remain deeply human?
This retreat explores those questions through four edges — the places where leadership becomes most human, and most demanding.
Beneath these four edges, I've come to recognize something deeper. This gathering in Portugal is an invitation to move beyond the old language of leadership competencies and into the deeper work of perception: noticing what is true, feeling what is present, discerning what matters, and leading from the parts of us that cannot be automated. Leadership is no longer only about acquiring new skills. It is about cultivating the human capacities that help us see and respond more wisely: discernment, ethics, relational intelligence, somatic awareness, systems thinking, creativity, and dignity.
Together, these capacities point toward what leadership now requires: staying regulated enough to see clearly, connected enough to protect trust and honesty under pressure, and responsible enough to steward technology, power, and people without losing our human touch along the way.
This retreat is the first gathering at the edge of that inquiry.
A way of honoring what this work has been.
And stepping honestly into what it is becoming.
I would love to meet you there.
In deep commitment to leading this work with and for you,
Franziska

The Retreat Arc
Edge I
If you cannot face yourself, you cannot be trusted with scale.
This edge explores the patterns, protections, assumptions, identities, and survival strategies that quietly shape how we lead and who we become under pressure.
Through this edge we explore:
Edge II
In a world of speed, noise, automation, and constant pressure, discernment becomes one of the most important leadership capacities.
This edge explores how we think clearly, choose wisely, and strengthen the human capacities that become more valuable as intelligence becomes increasingly outsourced.
Through this edge we explore:
Edge III
Leadership is always relational.
This edge explores the quality of the field a leader creates around them: how trust is built, how repair happens, how power is held, and how belonging, safety, and dignity are protected when complexity rises.
Through this edge we explore:
Edge IV
The future will not simply happen to us. We will participate in shaping it.
This edge explores the imagination, responsibility, and courage required to build lives, organizations, cultures, and technologies that preserve humanity as advantage in the "acceleration era."
Through this edge we explore:

Why Portugal
This retreat is not designed for content consumption. It is designed as a held environment for reflection, practice, conversation, embodiment, and re-membering.
A place to step out of urgency.
A place to metabolize what you have been carrying.
A place to ask what kind of leadership signature you want to have as the world accelerates.
Who this is for
This retreat is for founders, executives, senior operators, investors, culture-shapers, coaches, partners, and high-responsibility humans who sense that the old models of leadership are no longer sufficient.
It is for people who have achieved enough to know that achievement alone is not the answer.
It is for people carrying real responsibility who want to become more honest, discerning, regulated, relational, and courageous in how they lead.
It is for people who are interested in the future of leadership, AI, ethics, human development, nervous system intelligence, and the kind of inner work that changes how power is held.
It is especially for former clients and partners of Leadership That Heals who feel called to witness and participate in the next chapter of the work.
The Experience
This is not a passive retreat. It is also not an over-programmed leadership intensive.
